About Us

Sheffield Children's University is managed by Sheffield City Council Children and Young People's Service and has been affiliated to the national Children's University since 2004. It started as a pilot project in 2004 with ten schools comprising a small Education Action Zone called ‘Together We Can’. The Education Action Zone has come to an end but the same schools have continued to develop their CU activities as part of their Study Support / Extended Schools provision.
