Games Challenge
Y4 and Y5 pupils from Yewlands Family of Schools take part in a Games Challenge after school.

Children met and socialised with pupils from neighbouring schools, played a variety of board games, trained to become games mentors and designed their own board game.
Let's Get Cooking
Children from Southey Green Community Primary School attend after school sessions which focus on healthy eating.

The children learn to cook a variety of different foods alongside their parents, who are also encouraged to attend.
Chess
Children at Woodthorpe Community Primary School take part in Chess Club between 3pm and 4pm after school.

Both teachers and other children help coach those who are learning to play, whilst those who can already play have fun challenging each other.
Staff have found useful ideas and activities on the web and hope to organise a tournament which the children are eager to take part in.
Hinde House Forest School
Supported by Sheffield City Council Trees and Woodlands, Hinde House Forest School started as an afterschool club in October 2008 and in November transferred to Saturday mornings.

Children took part in woodland based activities on Wincobank Hill such as playing games, using a bowsaw and den building.
